ODE Dermatology’s medical consultations are conducted exclusively by Dr. Shammi Theesan.

Not all services require a consultation. The services that do will state so within the description or, can be viewed here.

All medical-related consultations attract a medicare rebate for eligible clients. A referral from a GP is essential to claim your rebate.

Consultations are scheduled for 20 minutes and involve the following steps:

1. Dr. Shammi Theesan's dedicated medical assistant will start by capturing clinical images of your area of concern which will be stored in your medical file.


2. You'll then be escorted to the examination room, where Dr Shammi will engage in a 10-minute consultation. During this time, she will attentively delve into your medical history, lifestyle nuances, and present concerns. For more intricate matters, this timeframe may naturally extend beyond the initial 10 minutes.

WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?

  • ONE AREA OF CONCERN:

    To consult with Dr. Shammi for one area of concern there will be a charge of $370.00.

    Review consultations are charged at $265.00

    TWO AREAS OF CONCERN OR MORE:

    To consult with Dr. Shammi for two or more areas of concern there will be a charge of $470.00. Review consultations start from $265.00.

    MEDICARE REBATES:

    First consultations will receive $ 81.30 back if eligible.

    Review consultations will receive $40.45 back if eligible.

    Please note, that additional services required will be charged. This may include biopsies, skin checks, wart removal, diathermy, and more.
